The Westlake High School Parent-Teacher Organization, Eanes ISD, Austin, Texas

The Westlake High School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501(c)(3) organization that works to build community among parents, staff and students at Westlake High School. We raise and spend tens of thousands of dollars each year and serve as the hub and information clearinghouse for volunteer activities on the Westlake campus. Latest Meeting: our November meeting was on Monday, November 2nd at 7 pm in the Principal's Conference Room at Westlake High School. It was your usual information overload hour with Ross Sproul covering the Principal's Report, informative and timely updates from the group representatives in attendance, and another crazy treasurer's activity. Thanks to those who attended!

Announcing the formation of a new parent support group on campus: The WHS Theatre, Speech and Debate Booster Club. They have been approved as a committee of the PTO and are working with Mr. Harlan and Mr. Hunt to be a resource for students in theatre, speech, and debate. We have historically made copies of PTO minutes and meetings agendas available at our meetings, but these sets of paper copies waste resources and consume PTO funds to produce.
